Control the video layoutWhen calling Create Bot, you can control the view configuration by using the

Gallery View doesn't support fallback frames (participant names on black screen) for participants who's cameras are off. To get the fallback frames, use Gallery View V2 instead
Gallery View V2
Audio-only recording
Set recording_config.video_mixed_layout to audio_only to exclude participant camera video and screen-share video from recording outputs and real-time video outputs. It also guarantee that video data is never captured or stored by Recall.ai.
With recording_config.video_mixed_layout: "audio_only" and each output configured:

FAQ
Is there a maximum number of participants displayed in the recording when using gallery view?
Yes. When using both gallery_view or gallery_view_v2, the maximum number of participants shown in the final mp4 (or real-time video stream) is capped
- Zoom: 16 participants
- Google Meet: 16 participants
- Microsoft Teams: 9 participants
This is dictated by meeting platform limitations, and thus cannot be overridden.
