This endpoint requires a recording ID

You cannot pass a bot ID or a DSDK upload ID to this endpoint to transcribe a recording. See the following guides for details on how to transcribe a recording:

Use this endpoint to:

• Generate a transcript after a meeting ends when you do not need transcript data in real time.
• Create a higher-quality final transcript for a completed recording for post-call workflows.
• Start a post-call transcription workflow that feeds summaries, action-item extraction, search, or form-filling workflows.
• Re-transcribe a completed recording with different language or diarization settings when the original transcript had accuracy or speaker-attribution issues.
